PT Pertamina (Persero) launched a program called “Mudik Gratis Pertamina 2025,” sending 5,000 exodus travelers (pemudik) to celebrate Eid al-Fitr in their hometowns. The initiative saw 121 buses depart from Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) in Jakarta on Tuesday, March 25, heading to 23 destinations across West Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta, and East Java. This year marked a 25% increase from 2024, with the number of facilitated travelers rising from 4,000 to 5,000. The free tickets were quickly snapped up after registration opened on March 10, demonstrating the community’s enthusiastic response. Within two days, all tickets were fully booked.
